Blackjack Variants Available at astar77

From classic to contemporary, astar77 stocks every major blackjack variant — each with published rules and RTP figures so you can pick your table with confidence.

Most Played

Classic Blackjack & Live Dealer Rooms

The backbone of the astar77 blackjack catalogue is Classic Blackjack — a six-deck game played with standard Vegas rules where the dealer stands on soft 17. It carries one of the lowest house edges in online gaming when basic strategy is applied correctly, sitting at under 0.5%. This is the table we recommend to players who are still learning the ropes, as the rules are consistent, the payout for a natural blackjack is 3:2, and there are no side-bet distractions to eat into your bankroll.

For players who crave the social atmosphere of a real casino floor, astar77's Live Dealer Blackjack rooms are the flagship product. Multiple camera angles, real-time chat with the dealer, and slick HD streams bring the KL casino experience directly to your phone screen. Bet behind options let you join action even when a table is full — a particularly popular feature during weekend peak hours.

Strategy Guide

Basic Blackjack Strategy — Play Smarter at astar77

Blackjack is one of the few casino games where your decisions genuinely affect the outcome. Players who apply basic strategy consistently can reduce the house edge to under 0.5% — making it statistically one of the most player-friendly games on the entire astar77 platform. The chart below summarises the most important moves based on your hand total versus the dealer's visible card.

Your Hand	Dealer Shows 2–6	Dealer Shows 7–9	Dealer Shows 10/A

Five Habits of Disciplined Blackjack Players

Set a session budget. Decide your maximum loss before you open a table. astar77's responsible gaming tools let you set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits directly from your account dashboard.
Never take insurance. The insurance side bet carries a house edge of roughly 7%. Unless you are card-counting at a live table — and astar77's CSM tables shuffle continuously — insurance is statistically a losing long-run wager.
Always split Aces and 8s. Splitting a pair of Aces gives you two chances at a 21. Splitting 8s rescues you from a weak 16. These are non-negotiable moves in any solid strategy framework.
Double down on 11 against a weak dealer. When the dealer shows 2 through 10 and you hold an 11, doubling down maximises expected value over hundreds of hands.
Avoid side bets for core sessions. Side bets like Perfect Pairs and 21+3 are fun in small doses, but their house edges are considerably higher than the base game. Treat them as entertainment, not strategy.
